How do you fit a washing machine and dryer in a small bathroom?
Stack them in a tall cabinet about 65 cm wide — it uses one footprint and keeps the rest of the bathroom free.

Short answer: stack them. Most front-loading washers and dryers are about 60 cm wide and 60 cm deep, so a stacked pair fits in a tall column roughly 65 cm wide and 65 cm deep, using the floor space of a single machine.
A stacking kit from the manufacturer so the dryer sits securely on the washer; a cold-water supply and a drain for the washer; and, for the dryer, either a vent to the outside or a heat-pump or condenser model that collects water in a tank or drains it.
Stacked machines are about 170–180 cm tall. Leave room above for airflow and service, and make sure the doors can open fully in front of the column — around 60–70 cm.
Electricity and water need care. Sockets and switches must follow the safety zones in your local wiring rules, which usually means keeping them away from the shower. Ask a qualified electrician to confirm the positions.
A wall-hung toilet and vanity, a frameless glass shower screen and one continuous floor tile make the remaining space feel larger. In our Pomer Residence bathrooms, the machines sit behind wood-toned doors next to a walk-in shower.
